Fun-filled days while learning together
Brilliant news, we raised over £50 on our Fairtrade Stall and Chrsitmas Tag stall at the Christmas Fair this year. Huge thanks to the pupil volunteers from class 3, 4 and 5 who set up and manned the stalls throughtout the afternoon.
Pupils shared thier work on Fairtrade, explained where the products had come from and handed out leaflets to further promote the Fairtrade message to parents and visitors who came.
Last year, the Eco Committee tirelessly cut out pretty Christmas scenes from old Christmas cards, to re use as Christmas tags for gifts. At the Fair, they decided to sell them for 2p each! Great business minds!
As always the books stall and toy stall went down really well. A great way to re use nearly new items that you have finished with but are worthy of a new home.
The Jarola stall was as popular as ever. Parents are encouraged to re use an old jar and fillit with goodies, mostly sweeties, as a Christmas treat!
