Enrichment at WWB

Enrichment at WWB - What Our School Can Offer Your Children

At WWB, we believe that a child’s education is about so much more than what happens in the classroom. Our enrichment offer is designed to open doors, raise aspirations and give every child opportunities to discover new interests, develop their talents and experience the wider world.

Through a rich and varied range of clubs, trips, visitors, sporting opportunities, creative experiences, leadership roles and wider activities, we aim to give our children experiences that compliment and extend their learning. Enrichment helps children to develop confidence, independence, resilience, teamwork and curiosity, while creating those special memories of primary school that stay with them for years to come.

Most importantly, we want every child to have the opportunity to take part. We recognise that children arrive at school with different experiences and opportunities, so our enrichment programme is an important part of ensuring that all our pupils can broaden their horizons, find something they enjoy and recognise what they are capable of achieving.

Why enrichment matters:

We want enrichment at WWB to help our children:

  • discover new interests and talents
  • grow in confidence and self-belief
  • develop resilience, independence and teamwork
  • experience sport, creativity, culture and the wider world
  • develop their leadership skills and sense of responsibility
  • raise their aspirations for the future
  • build friendships and a strong sense of belonging
  • make wonderful memories along the way

Above all, enrichment at WWB is about giving every child the chance to shine in the light of Jesus!
