Bag 2 School
Twice a year parents and children are encouraged to clear out their unwanted items and bring them into school, to raise money for schools funds.
Bag2school pay school 50p for every kg of good quality second hand adults and children's clothing, sheets, blankets, curtains, soft toys, shoes, belts and handbags. They get sold on to other people in other countries in Eastern Europe, Africa and Asia. 20% enters the recycling industry for bed furniture, socks, blankets and 80% gets re-used. Which stops it all going to a horrible landfill site.

In 2010 we raised £412.00
In 2011 we raised £563.00 fom 1260kg of second hand items
So far in 2012, we have raised £295.00 our best total yet, from one collection.
