Waddington and West Bradford C.E. Primary School
Fun-filled days while learning together
The school provides daily collective worship for all pupils, which is delivered by various members of the school community, including our head teacher, our local Vicar, teachers and pupils.
Worship for each half-term links to a central theme based on a core Christian value; this year's themes being generosity, compassion, courage, forgiveness, friendship and respect. Pupils also take part in follow up activities, including discussions, art and written work, in class each week. This helps them to extend their understanding of Christian values and of the stories introduced in Worship.
Each week, a group of pupils from Years 4 and 5 (our Ethos group) lead collective worship and the Eco-Committee host an assembly each term.
Classes from Year 1 to Year 6 deliver Class Worship each half-term and parents are invited to attend these.
Parents are welcome to attend our assemblies each Friday afternoon, in which the achievements of pupils are celebrated.
At our latest Church School inspection in 2016, we were graded outstanding.
Oh Lord,
Bless our school,
So that working together and playing together,
We may learn to serve you,
And to serve one another.
For Jesus' sake.
Amen.
