Raised beds
Each junior class has a raised bed to grow fruit and vegetables every year. Year 5 helped construct them! We've had great success over the years. Pupils grow vegetabbles as part of their topics and learning about World War 2 and rationing; Life cycles and Sustainability. Cauliflowers, carrots, marrow, beetroot and cabbage have all grown really well.
