Autumn 2 - Heroes and Villains
Buddha Bowls
Year Four made their own super healthy Buddha Bowls! They tasted seventeen different ingredients then created their own unique recipe combining wholegrains, cooked vegetables, raw vegetables, leafy greens and proteins. Some children also chose to add a dressing and/or hummus to their creation.
The children then peeled, sliced, chopped and helped to make hummus before tasting and evaluating their recipes. Each child then took home a bowlful of their wonderful and healthy food.
