Waddington and West Bradford C.E. Primary School
In our Christian family, we Encourage, Serve and Respect everyone and shine in the light of Jesus.
Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Some children from Year 5 and Year 6 had a wonderful morning of challenging maths at St Michael’s and St John’s Primary today.
As part of our Clitheroe cluster work, we are developing links with the other primary schools in the area and really enjoyed this morning.
The children had to work as a team at 5 different maths stations which all had different types of maths problems to solve!
We also enjoyed pairing up with our friends at Brennand's Endowed Primary School, Slaidburn
**PTA UPDATE**

That is absolutely amazing - thank you to everyone who sponsored a pupil. What a tremendous amount of money to raise
We are delighted to share that all staff have completed this accredited course and we are now a Trauma and Attachment Aware school.
As a Local Education Authority, Lancashire is aiming to become a Trauma aware County. We are so pleased to have completed this so we can fully support our families and community
Reception have been acting out the Easter Story. They have been thinking about how Jesus helps us to live our lives a good way, being kind, thoughtful and loving.
We love learning in EYFS!
Wow … how amazing, Year 6!
As part of our music curriculum, we offer every year 6 child the opportunity to learn a brass instrument. These pupils have only been learning since September. The progress they have made in their weekly lessons is excellent!
The second round of Y6 Art Club is now well underway. The group are currently carving out their designs into lino ready for printing cards and tote bags.
This morning, Reception have been using some Spring lamb fleece to complete some beautiful felt making for a lovely Mother's Day card
Today at Forest School we layered up our clothing to make sure we kept warm in the snowy, cold weather. We played games to promote teamwork. This involved us using a huge tarpaulin and thinking about building shelters. We also had a hunt for signs of spring. We managed to keep warm with a hot chocolate.
#LetGirlsPlay
Today, we joined the Football Association (FA) in their campaign to ensure girls have the same access to football in schools and in clubs by 2024 as boys do.
