Problem Solving Rainbow Day
Our first Rainbow Day of 2012/2013 was all about problem solving.
The rainbow teams had to work together to solve a variety of problems such as building a raft for teddy, making a bridge strong enough to hold a book, solving word and picture puzzles, and getting the team and a variety of equipment from one side of the playground to the other using only three carpet tiles to stand on!
The teams rotated around the seven activities and had to work quickly as a team to experiment with finding the best way to solve each task, ensuring they communicated their ideas effectively with the other members of their team....with varying levels of success!
