Rainbow Teams/School Council
Our Rainbow Team system was introduced in 2010 and has proven to be a great success. Each child in our school is a member of one of the seven Rainbow Teams. These teams spend a half day together each half-term with their 'team teacher' to work on a themed activity - such as drama, problem solving, outdoor learning, sports or art.
Each team has an elected leader from year six, who also represents the team on the school council. Each child can earn merits for their rainbow team by demonstrating the seven core values of our school. These are totalled up each week and the winning team at the end of the half-term receives a reward.
