DT FOOD PROJECT
Over the past few weeks Year 5 have been learning about bread! They investigated and taste tested existing products; practiced kneading and shaping bread; then used this information to design a new bread roll. This cumulated in the Year 5 Bread Bake Off! The children all worked really hard and had great fun. They worked as a team to weigh; measure and mix the ingredients and knead the dough. Then it was every baker for themselves as they individualised their bread roll, according to their designs. The judges were blown away by the standard of baking and found it very difficult to choose. Congratulations to the Star Bakers and all of year 5 for a successful DT project!
