Thank you to everyone who came along to our Macmillan Coffee Morning today.
We had a lovely time with you and raised a fabulous £274 to send to Macmillan.
Thank you to everyone who came to join us
Congratulations to these Year 6 pupils for being chosen as our Rainbow Team Captains for this year
Welcome to our Reception classroom!
What an afternoon … The weather held and it’s been wonderful to have our community together again and enjoying the bbq!
Thank you to everyone who came along
Thank you so much to the PTA for organising such a lovely (and successful) event
Thank you to Reverend Wood for coming into school on Friday and leading us in Worship where we thought about the meaning of the Lord’s Prayer and how we pray to God
We absolutely loved having the first half of Reception parents in school for lunch today! We know the children enjoyed sharing their dinner time with you and hope you enjoyed coming in.
We are looking forward to Group 2 coming next week!
The Year 1 children enjoyed their first Forest School session today with Mrs Burcher. We talked about boundaries and keeping safe whilst having fun! We played games, collected sticks, and described them
We have thoroughly enjoyed our whole school Sponsored Nature Walk today! We went on an adventure and saw Lamas, sheep and even went trip trapping over a little troll bridge!
Well done to all the children - you did lots of wonderful walking!
Thank you to the lovely volunteers too!
We are now a FOREST SCHOOL
We now have a trained Forest School teacher to deliver sessions in school so that we can enhance the outdoor education we provide.
We need some equipment and as you'll be aware money is very tight in school so we are asking for your help!
If anyone would like to help us by donating any of the following or making a donation to school we'd be HUGELY grateful!
We need:
Tarpaulins
Ropes
Potato peelers
Gloves
...amongst other things!
If anyone would like to support us with this we'd really appreciate it!
Year 6 had their first brass lesson this week! They practised making vibrations with their lips which helped decide whether they would learn to play the baritone or corner. They will continue this through your the year. Well done Year 6 - it's not as easy as it looks!
