We are all learners in our school!

We always talk to the children about learning being life-long and tonight was an example. Most of the staff from WWB and our link school, Brennand's Endowed Primary School, Slaidburn, stayed to have an update to their phonics training; using the time to learn about new strategies and lots of fun games we can use to help the children across school

They were so interested and we saw lots of ‘wow’ moments going on. One little girl even asked why I kept saying Firemen when women can be fight fighters too!

  • Netball Team

Mon 21 Nov 2022 Mrs White

We have played four netball matches now and we are getting used to the rules of the game.

The girls are showing their sportsmanship and I am totally in awe of their determination, resilience and motivation to keep learning and improving their skills.

They are working well as a team, supporting each other and being excellent ambassadors for our school.

    Go girls!

  • Walk and Talk Week 2

Thu 10 Nov 2022 Mrs White

Classrooms shouldn't have four walls and the best classroom is roofed only by the sky...

We are so lucky to be able to educate our pupils in our beautiful countryside and embrace all of their strengths.

What a wonderful 'walk and talk' today for EYFS. They walked up and over the hill opposite school. They were very brave climbing up the side! They could see Pendle Hill, the Cement Works, cows, hens, a flood, lots of birds and Clitheroe Castle. So much to talk about!
